Jordan/Angus
Jordan, now Angus. Found dumped on Jordan Road with a broken tail and burns to his ears. Angus is delighted to be celebrating his 1st birthday with his new, loving family!

Coco
Coco was discovered living outdoors in poor conditions at a trailer. The family originally kept her indoors and after a few months, decided she should be an outdoor dog 24/7. She slept out in all kinds of weather conditions. After many attempts, we finally convinced the family to surrender her to us. She is now living in a wonderful home very spoiled and pampered.

Forrest
This is how Forrest was found. Tied to a tree of a vacant house with no food or water and unable to walk. His hip joints were broken and dislocated. The Petterie stepped in and with the help of a wonderful group of people who donated, Forrest (now Bentley) received the surgery he needed. Here he is now in the middle of his two furbaby siblings. He is a happy healthy pup living the life of luxury with his new family.

Rosie
Winter (Winnie) was born into a litter of 4 under an abandoned mobile home by a stray momma dog. Momma dog made sure the puppies stayed warm enough through excruciating, freezing days on end and safe from hungry wild animals. Kind and caring local residents fed Momma dog so that she had plenty of milk to keep her babies healthy. After getting a warm Dawn bath and a clean bill of health from our Vet, a loving family stepped up right away to adopt her. Winnie, now named Rosie, is on her way to a sweet life.

Lexi
Lexi was abandoned and left to fend for herself when her family moved out. She would travel to the neighbor’s where a male dog got her pregnant over and over. By the time we found her, she had given birth to many litters. The neighbors could not tell us what happened to most of her puppies. At that point, we scooped her and her one remaining puppy up. Her puppy was adopted out and she now happily resides with a loving family.

Sammie
Sammie is one of Lexi’s puppies who was a year old and living with her mom on the streets when we found her. She was not socialized and very fearful. We would see her at the local Dollar General searching for food, In the meantime, she had a litter of her own. When the puppies were approximately 6 weeks old, we rescued and placed them in loving homes. After many attempts, we were able to trap Sammie. She now happily resides in the same home with her mom. Sammie is a ball of sunshine with her constant smile.
